In the construction industry of Singapore, builders are closely regulated by authority, Building and Construction Authority (BCA), ensuring high quality and standard deliverables. BCA issues licensing to builders in Singapore to qualify and permit these builders to construct building works locally. The rationale is to constantly upgrade the safety and quality of the construction sector while raising professionalism through standards of management, safety record and financial solvency.
Hong Fong Interior & Construction hold the license of General Builder License Class 2 (GB2), entitling the company to build projects or conduct Addition & Alteration (A&A) works of up to $6 Million for both public and private construction projects.
Renovation Service
Renovation is the process of repairing or revamping something, especially a place or building, so that it will be in good condition or upgraded improvement. It is typically in either a commercial, industrial or residential.
In the renovation industry of Singapore, contractors are usually regulated through BCA under its work head – CR06 license scheme and/or through HDB under its training and license scheme to put contractor in their DRC [Directory of Renovation Contractors].
Modern renovation comprises of different segments throughout the processes. Mainly Design, Coordination & Trade services. Typically, any renovation projects will require a design/plan of how it should be renovated, a skilled coordinator who understand the entirety of the design/plan and possesses the knowledge of project management, like quality controls and sequencing of works to put each individuals’ trades (Tradesman) together to form up the finished projects.

Designer Service
A multifaceted professional who is skilled in delivering an aesthetically pleasing environment for the people using the space through their cultivated talents in interior planning, researches, coordinates and management of a renovation project. They aimed to deliver their project as closed to the visualization presented as possible.
Project Management Service
A professional managers/coordinator who organizes, plans, and executes projects while working within their restraints (budgets and schedules). They are well-trained and experienced in the sequencing of work flow and time management, communicating with owners, designer (if any) on their expectation while delivering projects by leading the teams (Tradesman or subcontractors) and provide quality checks on finished products, seeing the project through to its closure.
Tradesman Service
A skilled individual/team who specialized in their particular service of trade to deliver quality finishing to the project. They often work together with Project Manager/Coordinator to deliver the specialized portion which required their trained specialty. Eg. Tilers, Brick-layers, Plasterers, Electricians, Plumbers, Painters, Carpenters, Demolishers etc.
